Heart Centred Yoga: Summer Solstice & The Fire Element


Join us for a 6 week yoga series celebrating the arrival of the Summer Solstice, the Fire Element, the season of blossoms, butterflies, birds and all things heart centred. This balanced and gentle practice will emphasize heart opening postures with a focus on backbends and forward bends and will incorporate the practice of Metta, a Buddhist Loving Kindness meditation for fostering compassion towards oneself and others. In this series we will also explore the Heart/ Anahata Chakra and the Heart, Pericardium, Small Intestine and Triple Burner Meridians from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. We will also explore the realm of the Heart Spirit: The Shen, some of it’s symbolism and significance in infusing our lives with connection, relationship, inspiration and healthy boundaries. All levels welcome. You are also welcome to practice synchronously or asynchronously. When you register for the 6 week series, you will receive a weekly invitation to a live Zoom class, as well as a private link to recorded video of each week’s class. You will have unlimited access to the video for one year.

COST sliding scale: $60 - $120 for 6 classes + 1 year unlimited access to video recordings.
