Shake it Off:  Yoga for Stress + Tension Relief

Starting this September, shake it off every Thursday with Acupuncturist, Alchemist, Artist and yoga teacher Julie Gladstone  during this 5 week Yoga series designed to relieve tension and promote flow and relaxation.

5 WEEK SESSION

September 21st – October 19th

This specially designed 5 session series will combine Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Mindfulness  Meditation, and aromatherapy to wring out the week’s accumulated stress, overwhelm,  irritability, shoulder and neck stiffness and all the tension that can arise from life in the city, working long hours, overstimulation etc.

This series we will work with a focus on  the Liver and Gall Bladder Meridians which play an important role in our emotional and creative life,  and control the health of our joints, our stress levels, and the menstrual cycle.    We will practice  postures specifically designed to release shoulder and neck tension, increase deep breathing,  improve circulation and promote relaxation.
